Jay Parmer is an Associate with Wellington Dupont who brings more than thirty years of experience in politics, public service and corporate public affairs, with an expertise in health care, financial services, consumer products, real estate development and land use planning.
His political experience includes service on six presidential campaigns, working at the local, state and national level. In 2000, Parmer served as a senior advisor to the George W. Bush for President Campaign during the California primary, and was a top campaign aide to vice presidential nominee Dick Cheney during the general election. He also served as political advisor to Governors Pete Wilson and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Parmer was a political appointee at the Agency for International Development during the Reagan Administration, and served on the White House Staff as a Special Assistant to President George H.W. Bush. At the White House, he participated in the planning and implementation of media and public relations strategies for numerous federal initiatives including the Clean Air Act and Americans with Disabilities Act.
